  • A carbon assessment (or GHG assessment) is the process of measuring how much greenhouse gases are produced by an individual or organisation.

  • It involves 3 steps:

    • Identifying greenhouse gas emission sources, internal and external.

    • Converting data to its CO2 equivalent for analysis.

    • Defining priority improvement areas.
